However, the landscape of child education in India has persistent issues such as inadequate infrastructure, shortage of qualified teachers and socio-economic disparities. To address these challenges, concerted efforts are required at various levels. From policy reforms to community involvement, a multifaceted approach is essential. This includes providing accessible and equitable educational opportunities, nurturing a conducive learning environment, and fostering a curriculum that not only imparts knowledge but also instil critical thinking and creativity.
Community engagement and parental involvement are equally crucial, fostering a supportive ecosystem that encourages children’s learning. Collaboration between government bodies, NGOs, and private sectors can lead to innovative solutions and resource pooling. Furthermore, a revamp of the curriculum to include practical, vocational skills alongside academic knowledge can better prepare students for the challenges of the modern world.

Issues Faced By Children In Their Education
Lack Of Awareness In Parents
Generally, parents from neglected backgrounds are not aware about the importance of their children’s education. Additionally, restricted funds work as cherry on the cake. They are even unaware of initiatives run by the government and social welfare societies.
Greed Of Earning
Many people, especially in rural areas and suburbs, rely on their children and start expecting them to contribute for bread and butter at a naïve age which makes them deprived of their basic rights of education and learning. This Child labour is a curse for society and abnormal for the mental, physical and psychological health of children who go through it.
Trapped In Child Trafficking And Drug Abuse
In the age of receiving basic education, some children get trapped into the illegal business of child trafficking for purpose of exploitation. Also, a few gets addicted to various types of drugs intentionally by a group of people ensuring those children to work for even longer hours to meet their greed.
Negative Impact Of COVID-19 Pandemic
Already, every year, millions of Indian children are forced out of education due to their family and financial circumstances. Additionally, with the pandemic that caused sky-rocketed drop-out rates due to shutting down of offline schooling, education stepped further backwards.

Often, unprivileged children face discrimination in learning environments or have lifestyles not conducive for learning. Many of these children leave school before they can acquire the basic skills and knowledge needed to thrive within society. They cannot even afford essential stationery items and books, despite their will and passion for reading and writing.

Spreading Air Of Awareness
Making parents aware about importance of their children’s education is the foremost as well as the most crucial step in journey of achieving the dream of educated and empowered India. We, at Youth Veerangnayen, achieve the same through seminars, rallies, street plays and many such campaigns for motivating parents to enrol their children in school and to motivate young talents to come up and learn.
Making Education A Tool For Change
We believe, through education, we can empower the next generation with the tools they need to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society. We, at Youth Veerangnayen, provide free education and impart basic literacy skills to the underprivileged children in 250+ free study centres that have reached 80000+ children operating in areas of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. There, we employ experienced teachers and provide access to textbooks along with all study essentials such as books, notebooks and other stationery to these children. In addition, we also organize career counselling camps to guide children about their career options after school.

Special Focus On Girls’ Skill Training
We prominently focus on girl child as she is the most neglected member of less privileged families. Ensuring them having quality learning with favourable environment is our foremost priority. Additionally, we provide skill trainings like stitching, mehndi, art & craft, beauty related training; to uneducated grown-up girls to sustain their livelihood.

Acting Against Child Labour
We see many children around us toiling in hotels, dhabas, homes, cigarette and cracker factories, and farms. Working robs these children off their right to education and the opportunity to grow in a healthy atmosphere. Youth Veerangnayen strive to create awareness around these issues among businessowners who employ such children and consumers of these businesses by discussing publicly about its impact on the fabric of the society in the long run through street plays, rallies and seminars. Our volunteers have conducted over 300 seminars in various states for the same and contributed in making India free of child labour.

Bringing Young Minds To Skilful Environment
We, at Youth Veerangnayen, believe that our youth can become a transformed generation, away from age-old mindsets that leads to patriarchy and related issues. To achieve this, it is necessary to give right direction to the young minds. We organize various competitions in schools, colleges, parks and community centres on days observed by the UN with the aim of allowing the young minds to express their creative selves while also igniting discussions on important issues.

Tackling Drug Abuse
Awareness regarding this major social evil in young minds is inevitably and significantly crucial because the quality of a seed sown at an early age determines the quality of fruits from the tree at later stage. Youth Veerangnayen organizes seminars in education institutes and public places to aware children about the ill effects of drugs on their social, physical and mental health. They will not only convince their drug consuming elders to quit so, but also, they will not be abused by drugs in their young age.
